Power

POWER! It's all about power! Think about it. It's a Ford Truck and it goes down the road. Period that's it! If it's orginal A++++ If it's not, B+ or worse. O. K. some will say "C" or even "F" but the bottom line is if it is the owners truck and if he or she wants Chevy information that has been printed over and over and over into every public motorsport magizine sinse 1968 then this is not a problem. The issue is to direct them to the 10,000 publications and web sites decated to smalll block chevy internal happiness. As the friction heats up please remember we are all here for the love of the 48-60 FORD Truck! By the way, I hve one Ford power and on Chevy power. At least there American made!

Well, I find it odd that a fellow Ford trucker is being, literally, being flogged because of his engine choice. In the meantime nobody trashed me for admitting I'm running an Olds engine and tranny, Chrysler front end and Pontiac seat. My bed is also upholstered in carpeting from Lowes and not Home Depot.
My oldest grandson always kids me about my "Ford" because the only major Ford parts are the body and rear end.
I know this is a Ford site, but diversity is what makes the world go around.
You have fun with your Ford, Kusto!

Not again!!!!

Favorite frosty beverage???.............COLD!!!! although FREE is pretty danged good as well!

(and for the record, while this debate reared its ugly head I was imbibing copious amounts of said frosty beverages and trying to keep my fat rear out of the drink while running the jetski wide open across the frosty waters down at the lake..............its been a tough weekend and I think I've killed off numerous brain cells.....well, i know that alot of them wounded)

OK, rage on with your debate

Uh oh, I think I covered both bases I was drinking German Beer, Irish whiskey, and to top it all off there was a shot or two of tequilla thrown in for good measure.
And since we were on the lake we very nearly got keel hauled by that old rapscallion Capt'n Morgan

My head is still throbbing, but man! it was a heck of a party!

Drinking stories... I've got hundreds, if I could only remember them when I'm sober!
