Does anyone know how to remove the combo ashtray cup holder assembly on the 07 F-150 xlt? The one on the dash under the radio.

 

Pull the trim piece off, there are screws under there or was it a plastic tab...anyway easy to do. The trim has a bunch of clips holding it, takes a little effort to pull off. Pull the ash tray out so you can get a hold of it.

 

I think your talking about the trim around the radio. The ashtray cupholder is below that piece of trim. Looks like the whole slide assembly has to come out as a unit.

 

The trim is one piece and that is how you get to the cup holder ash tray. I took mine out and sprayed with some silicone to stop it from rattling. It comes out as one unit which can then be taken apart. Do a search on radio removal, there are some pics on here showing better detail.
