Squeaky Rear Shocks

Got about 12K on my '06 R/C 2wd and noticed a squeak coming from the rear shocks or possibly the leaf spring bushings most noticeable when driving over speed bumps. Creaks like a 20 year old truck! Anybody else got this embarrassing squeaking coming from their truck going over bumps? Are the stock rear shocks wearing out that fast? I've had a few heavy loads in the bed but the truck is mostly used for commuting. If the shocks are indeed going, what shock is a good upgrade for these trucks?

I coulda swore there was a tsb on the leaf spring mounts or bushings had to get greased or replaced... or Both?

Fwiw....
I've noticed that Bilsteins seem to be a popular aftermarket choice for these trucks...

Take some white lithium grease and spray in between the leafs, see if that helps. I do it periodically and dont have a squeak anymore. Mine was caused from my Add A Leaf but it may help you in your situation too.
