53 - 56 Starter Relay Picture

Anybody have a pict of the starter relay mounted in the truck?
As usual, I'm confused and need a picture.

I think that the relay (solenoid) for your truck should be inside the frame rail near the battery. Picture shown is a '56 and I think you have a '54

I'm trying to figure out where this gets bolted onto the frame rail. I dont see any holes for it. Shoulda took a picture.

Here is where mine is on my 56. Don't know if that is the stock location or not, but it is convienent.



See it on the left side of the firewall below the blower motor?

That's where mine was til I went to the darkside, that is. Believe it or not The starter rela went out on my riding mower and when the parts man priced a new one I told him my lawn mower wasn't worth that much. Anyway, I had a spare solenoid for my truck and installed it on my mower and it worked. I used it for quite a while.
