Malfunctioning fuel gauge

Hello, I have a 1997 f-250 7.5 Heavy Duty. It has 94,000 and in immaculate condition. However, I have dual tanks. I noticed that my gauge is starting to "float" when it gets below a half a tank. The only thing I can think of is a bad connection in either the level sensor/inertia switch??? When I accelerate or brake the gauge responds respectively. So, I decided to see if the rear tank did the same thing....nope...it's fine....until TODAY. Now, it's doing the same thing. Could it be the guage itself or do you think it's a connection/sensor issue? Thanks for any tips.

Some fords came with an "anti slosh" module usually in/on the back of the instrument cluster, I went to the junk yard in Adelanto ca and bought an instrument cluster out of a later model (1992) Aerostar and plunked it into my 1990 which cured the problem, some genius has a site somewhere that describes how to repair the anti slosh module..

Thanks, I will replace the module and see if it fixes the problem. From what I gather the module is pretty universal and can get it off of any ford vehicle? Off to the U-Pull.
