In 29 years of marriage I have found the dog house is not so bad if you make some improvements. Carpet, heat and lights to name a few. If you don’t try to do it all at once it won’t blow your Ford budget. My golden retriever loves the company.

Did you hear the "right here before Christmas" story that I did? I just gotta get mine going in case I need to make a quick get a way! Dogs don't seem to mind too much, more body heat!

At least with the crew cabs, you have lots of space to stretch out.

It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

if I can pull off my purchases, 86 Bronco 4x4, and a little ranger 4spd for gas saving part fetchin'... That will hold me over for awhile, lol until the next crazy deal. All three for around 2K.

Married for 10 yrs.

Eat PB&J's for a month leading up to purchase to ease the blow.

lol

I catch a little flak now and then, but since I make the majority of the money and keep her German nightmare of a car running, she doesn't have much to say.
She gave me some lip about the F250, but to shut her up I told her we could get a camper for it. Suddenly she has visions of not sleeping in a tent when we're out in the woods, and she's on me to actually get a camper.
Oops. Shoulda kept my mouth shut and bought her some diamond earrings instead.

If I had a penny for every time someone said "what do you need another truck for" I wouldn't have a millon dollars but I would have alot of pennies. I started to look at it like this. Some guys fish and some guys hunt and anyone that says fishing and hunting aren't expensive well they've never seen or been to a Cabelas store. WOW. Some guys gamble or drink some even have a side girlfriend (now that's expensive) some vaction all over the world. So if you didn't spend it one way you spend it some other way or someone else would spend it for you. (uncle sam, your wife, your kids, or even that side girlfriend) anyway these trucks make me happy every trip to work or the store is like a little vaction or winning a football beat or getting the big one so guys like us can accomplish all the things that cost other guys money with just a trip to the store. Just one more way to look at it. I saw a quote that said "You might be a truck guy if "you can't walk all the way across a parking lot without looking back to see you truck one or two last times" I never noticed it until I read that and now I watch other guys do it and I've found I'm guilty myself.
So the heck with everybody else buy and buy often and most of all ENJOY.

Just my 2 cents.
