I was talking to you about the tranny I bought today. I finally work out posting some pics of it with your help. Thanks. The tranny fits the flathead v8 but the yoke is rigid .... no sliding to it. It must be for a two piece driveline. Can you confirm or identify it . Tim
I still need help---am I stupid or what? I cannot get a grip on posting and ned to learn asap---wife said I have to do it myself......HELP!!! Sorry for being so helpless....Bill
There's a couple of different ways to be able to post pictures.
1-Become a supporting member and then you can "attach" images to your post. In this process when you post you will have an option button for "attachment". You simply click on the button and search through your files on your computer until you find the image you want and then click on it to open it.
2-You can use the posting option in the Advanced post widow but you have to have the image already parked on the internet somewhere, like in a gallery on FTE or somewhere else on the net so you can copy and past the URL, the internet address. It starts with "http" and has to end with a image format suffix like .jpg or .gif.
Go to the advanced posting page and click on the image icon, . When you click on this icon a window will pop up. Insert the address of the image you want to insert in your post, you have to have the entire address, exactly, no variations. You can either manually type it in or go to the image on the net, right click on it. A small window will come up, go to the very bottom and click on "Properties". This will give you the URL of the image. Copy and past that URL in the afore mentioned window you got when you clicked on the . Click "OK" and your image should be inserted into your message.

Hey Bill,
What kind of help do you need? E-mail or PM me and I will try and help.
I have gotton a lot of help from this thread and have to look back on it from time to time because my memory glands don't work as well as they used too. My biggest mistake was not skrolling down when highlighting the url, there is sometimes three lines and not the two that shows. The way I go about it is by right clicking on the image, then click on properties, highlight the url right click and click on the copy, then go back to where you are posting to the thread and click the highlight the spot that says http/ right click and hit the paste and there you should have it, hope this helps now that it's off my chest lol
Some times the ones with the newest experience can help the most. Although I'm not an internet or computer genius, I've been using them since the internet became popular and I take it for granted. I overlook simple problems, like the one John mentioned. If you're still having problems keep posting, I'm sure some one will be able to help you through it.

Thanks Bill... If I had been keeping watch on it I would have made it something special by starting a new thread. Oh well, there's always #2000 to look forward to as you just did.

I thought if an old coot like me could post pictures anyone could do it. It took me a long while but with my son's help I am getting better. I finally bought me a digital camera and have really enjoyed it after some trying times. Keep at it and seek help from anyone who claims to know anything about it. Good luck.
