Gas Filler Location?

There are several options out there for you;
Adapt a fuel filler door and neck from a late model car
Weld in a flush mount filler (the custom motorcycle guys use this type)
Use a marine style filler neck (also marketed to street rod guys for twice the price by CoolCaps)
Check out Randy Jack's gallery for his install of a fuel filler door. https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...&albumid=23987
Check out Ferguson777's gallery for the flush mount install https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...&albumid=25394
I'm using the marine style mount (bought from the local marina) but I don't have a clear pic of it

I personally do not like the filler in the floor of the bed...if I need to gas up I don't want to have to re-arrange any cargo just to get to the gas cap. I just bought a 121 gallon No-Limit aluminum tank from Mid-Fifty and had it configured for a side-fill. I don't have the filler door worked out yet but my thoughts are to incorporate it into a tailight assembly in the fender...kinda like the drop down units on the 56 Chevy or any number of other cars.

The filler neck for the tank is on the side, I didn't like it going through the bed (I am using Bubinga as the bed wood and didn't want to disrupt the look).
I really like the look of Randy Jack's and Brian's filler doors. I was originally thinking of putting the filler door more on the back of the fender (don't know why), but think I will change to this.
Thanks.

On my F-3 I'm toying with grafting in a fuel door off of a 79 pickup into the drivers rear fender. Helps that I have a parts truck as a donor already
