Anyone else notice this? Right there in the banner at the top of the page... if not, that's one impressive artist's rendition.

SUPERDUTY_untouchabl is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I pointed that out in another thread but I dont think anyone else responded to it. But that does resemble it under all that covering they put on them.

Your probably right. The pic depicts a truck of the future. By whom? I'd say Ford.

I think that is an '08 Super Duty with the fog lights in the wrong spot. The '09 F150 appears to have the head lights above the turn signals as opposed to the arrangement shown here.

It has SuperDuty wheels on it, as well as SuperDuty door handles.

To me it looks like they took a stock photo of a 2005 - 2007 Super duty and did the following:

Flipped the headlights upside down and from side to side.

Did a crappy job of creating a generic grille and attempting to smooth out the edges of there butcher job.

Squared off the old style towing mirrors much the same as the way they created their excuse for a grille.

I guess it is kind of a complement that they would choose a Ford Super duty to create there generic logo truck, but I would be unhappy if I was Ford with the way they butchered it.

lets hope not

If that is the new f150 then I have been waiting for nothing to buy my new truck. I was hoping that they would keep the f150 different from the SD. The main reason I was waiting was to get the diesel now they say 2010 now if that is the new look, waited for nothing. I guess I have to buy a SD, maybe I will wait for the 2009.

I think that was concept picture of what the 08 Super Duty was to look like. They shoulda gone that way instead of the way they did, IMHO.

i believe its a ford truck that they have changed like ya'll said w/ some other truck elements, as so they will not show favortism towards a certain truck on their banner, and no copyright. just like those cheap hot wheels knock-offs you got as kids, they were not any certain truck.

Look at the boat in the background, it is the same one that Ford used with the Yellow FX-4 when they first put it on the market.

Just one of Ford's stock photos they butchered so that they wouldn't have to get into copyright laws most likely. Who'd want to create a whole truck just for a web site page? This was obviously the cheaper route.
