So, your just starting to ....

So your just starting to think, that old engine is getting tired, my transmission is going. Your driveing along and a chebby 350 pulls out in front of you, bout the same year as you have. Your thinkin, "man this ahole just pulled out in front of me, he better get on it." You get up to his bumper and he whams on the gas, you see smoke come out from the tail pipes as shifting threw some oil into the cylinder. You decide to pass him anyways, even though your already going 65 in a 55. You move over for the pass, the road is clear, he hits metal as his foot pushes the pedal as far as it goes, more smoke pours from him engine, and your old 170k mile 302 5 speed spanks him like a red headed step child without even shifting out of overdrive.

Poor chebby got spanked by a smaller lower horspower engine and no downshift!!!!

could have been one of those pathetic 6.5/6.2 diesel chevys, they are known to blow enough smoke to keep them hidden, so no one knows what a hunk of crap they drive

I have only been here a few months more than you. And i bet I have less than 100 post in any other forum than this one and the 99-03 7.3 forum. I spent a year asking questions and the last 3 answering them. I don't know.
