1956 F100 with no spark??

No Spark

If your condenser is bad = no spark . Are you getting power to the points??
Do the points spark when you spin the engine over ? This sounds like a dead
condenser or coil. Rule of Thumb If the Dwell is too BIG! the gap is too small
& if the Dwell is too small the gap is too BIG!

Spark!!

Hello,

OK I now have confirmed the coil is good by "tricking" it by grounding the - side of the coil. That eliminated everything from the coil back to the ign. switch. It has to be the distributor. Today I am going to go get new points and condencer. Hopefully tonight it will start.
