upstate is nice (to bad its connected to the rest of it)

i went there a few times when i lived in ct, really nice place and it is hard to imagine the area is really the steretypical "new york" that everyone hears so often about.

I guess I'm gonna have to snap some pics. of Long Island also. I take a lot for granted where I live on the island.

We have a few lakes here that are totaly awesome. And yes the beaches are a site to see, and play on. Anybody ever heard of the sunken forest?

Hamilton Co. on the roads around Lake Pleasant, Gilmantowm rd, and the Sacandaga river.

Hey Crazy where in upstate NY? I'll be heading back to VA after I finish siding on son's house, roof on my house, and a stable for our Mustangs. Temp about 7 degs colder here than in M'ville.
