core support queestion...gas to diesel?

i have a 97 F250 ECLB. 7.3 Powerstroke. I need a core support, i wanna buy one brand new online, but i found a core support thats cheaper but it says its for an F350 with the 7.5 460...is there a difference between the 2 core supports?

A gasser core support will not work for you.. Have to find one from a diesel.

sweet info.

I figured i'd have to buy a gasser to get the body I want, cause the diesels are harder to buy for decent prices.

Good to know.

How bad is yours rusted out? Can you fix it with the help of some sheet metal and a welder? If it's not too far gone, cut the rust out, replace with good sheet metal and throw some paint on it.

I have ordered many!!! core supports from every vendor I could find and none of them have the support for a '95.5 to '97 ford powerstroke. even though they will "guarantee" it is :the right one" from what I have found ford only sold the dies for the support up to '95.5! so no one can even stamp them.
car-part.com is your friend. search the south west. ensure it is not cracked as most of the trucks out here have a LOT of miles and they crack. easy enough to fix (inner and outer braces edge welded and rosette welded)
