Jamie,
Looks like you are well on your way. Custom grille and tubbed! Looks like you have some big meats in mind.

Nice looking collection you got there.

Mark me down as another one that likes where you're headed with the grille. (Think about sinking a Ford oval nameplate into the center or flush mount signal lights into the bar beside the headlight buckets)

You know what would look good with those tubs and the grille ? 3 inches off the top!

This is my buddy's truck, and I've tried to talk him into sinkin a Ford Oval into the center, and flushmount turn signals, but he has headlights with the turn signals already in them. Plus he wanted the grille to be as smooth as possible? Of course it is "his" truck, but I would go with the oval anyway. You should see what we're goin to do with the "V" part we cut off the top ot the 55 grille. We're goin to weld it into the cab right below the rear window and put lights under it to act as dome lights. We are also goin to put the V8 emblem back in the center of that part too. He has a 87 Cutlass seat with split back rests and the "dip" will be in the center of them right above the drop down armrest. I'll try to get some pics up for him, but right now it's up on my lift and hard to take pics of.

Looks like you are way ahead of me on my 54. I am looking for a bed or I have to remake some of mine. The one that came with the truck someone cut off about six inches. I have another full size but is really rusted out all around the bottom.
I also have a tire hanger and that fender is really rough. Oh well if we wanted it easy we would be driving Ch___.

The smooth grill is always great to see. Folks will know the truck is an "oval" without the need to put it in. Do I spot one of my alltime favs in the garage , a 55 cheby??
Nice going on the work, always post new picks, we love em.
