Interest?

Anybody interested in a Mid. Tn. meet between thanksgiving and christmas? I know downtown Franklin usually has some things going on(Dicken's Christmas etc.) I see all the memphis people trying to have all the fun, just thought I would try to see if anybody round here wanted to try for a meet. Comments, thoughts, brick-bracks about the idea?

That's good to hear. I know Franklin is doing the Dicken's Christmas here the 8th and 9th of December. I'll have to look and see what's going on in Nashville, I tend to spend more time in Franklin then Nashville(Franklin just reminds me of my hometown of Plano(looks, atmosphere everything just reminds me of back home)) so I'll have to look and see what else is going on. It's a nice fun relaxing day when I was there last time(had to skip last year had to work(I hate being a grown up)), but I'll look into it. Hopefully I can get more people interested.

Thats what we need from the members. Its good to see members planning a meet in your part of the state. I hope you get something going. The east side members should try the same thing.I don't know if its possible for me but I'll try to make it if its near Nashville.

Unfortunately I haven't heard from anybody that actually lives in the area. Franklin isn't that far from nashville to where I think it would be a deterrant for you if your wanting to come up. I was hoping to get something from the members that are around here, but alas no luck on that front. I'm still looking into Nashville itself for holiday stuff, but Dicken's seems like it would be easy for a bunch of truck people to get together at and plus it's free to the public. 99Trigger if you think you can make it up either the 8th or 9th and are interested in that let me know, Lariat same goes for you as well, I'll try to see if I can drum up some more people from round here, wish me luck on that front.

I'll be south of Franklin in Thompson Station saturday november 3. It is the Tn division II state finals for TN high school marching bands. My 3 daughters are in the McNairy Central High School band. I pull the gooseneck equipment trailer for them.
But other than that, i would be down for mid Tn gig betwen turkey and Santa.
Maybe go visit our best buds, Jack and George, over in Lynchburg and Tullahoma?

I've never been to the Dickel or the Daniel's brewery's since I've moved up here aways back. I've always passed by the Dickel on the way to Normandy dam to go fishing or if I just have to go to Tullahoma for something.

I have been to Jack's joint with another truck club. I would like to see the dickel distillery and see lynchburg lit up like a christmas tree.

I would like to see both, but I don't know if we would have enough for a group meet down there though. I know there are more people in mid. tn. then who have responded to this thread(ironically those that have responded are either from Memphis(or surrounding area) or from out of state), but for one reason or another they aren't responding.
