Alabamabuddog - what was that with the x-member? An F150?

I know you mentioned it a couple times, and it had eighteen bolts holding it in. I keep trying to picture it in my head, and all I can think is that there must have been four bolts at each end for starters, and angle braces. Plus more stuff in the middle...

At least I can be thankful that a Ranger is more of a Mustang-like setup. Two pin bolts, and two bolts in the center. I was kinda suprised that it was offset a little bit to one side though. About an inch, if I remember right.

I think for round two, I'll be borrowing Don's transmission jack.

6 pn both ends and 4 in the middle. 16 then I guess.
