Thumbs up I was the lucky one who bought it

Thanks Ryan for saying what you did and for your welcome to the forum. To let you know my name is Jay Pape, I live in Bosque Farms, NM. I have owned plenty of Fords (still have my 1971 Mustang Mach 1 and 1979 Ford F250) and I hope to learn enough to keep this truck in tip-top shape. As you know, I have been reading the forum and trying to understand more about diesels. It's a cool forum and fun to check out.

I drove the truck 1750 miles non-stop, 36 hours, and it purred the whole way. Except for a few times I got into it to pass someone. Dang, that's what I call fun. I never knew how great these trucks were and how much power they had.

I kept it to about 68 mph and it got 17 1/2 miles to the gallon. I sure am glad to be the new owner, it's a beauty.
