ole yeller 1978 is starting off with a positive reputation.
1990 300 efi into 1978 with 300 with carb

How hard will this swap be. I have a chance to buy a 1990 donor truck, body shot but motor and auto overdrive tranny in good shape. Thinking about putting the efi and auto in my 78 that currently has a carb and manual tranny. I know about the obvious things like steering column, but my main concerns are with the electrical part of the engine swap. I know I will have to have an additional gas line, but will I have to change gas tanks or can I just mount an electric fuel pump for the low pressure and then mount a high pressure pump on the frame like in the late 80's. Any ideas on this swap will be appricated. Anyone done this swap?

Thanks,
Jeff
