88 5 speed shifter question

i bought a 88 4x4 f150 5.8 with a 5 speed that the owner said the transmission was slipping in, when i got there to look at the truck the shifter was just very loose and would turn every wich way, found at least one low foward gear and got it on the trailer and started working on it last night, at first i thought it was just the shifter bolt loose but that wasnt the case, so i took the top cover off and the shifter cover(torx screws were stripped so its had some work before) and found that the nylon bushing was in peices, it apears to me that there are supposed to be pins on each side of the shifter ball to keep it from rotating but they are broken off, are there supposed to be pins and are they a replacable part? thanks for any help
