Cab Floor Insulation Stuff

I'm replacing my worn out black vinyl/rubber full floor mat in my 1982 F250. There is no carpeting in my truck.
When I jerked it up there was a double layer of stuff that was kind of like carpet pad but more towards a felt based product. I need to find some more of this stuff. Anybody know where to find it? I'm drawing a blank from most of the stores (and Ford) that I've contacted.

I bought the direct replacement aftermarket black vinyl/rubber whole cab floor mat (well, maybe not whole cab but at least it goes up to the bench seat).
I put some Grace Ice and Water Sheild down on the metal floor after cleaning it with denatured alcohol, and acetone for the tough spots. I made sure it was tight to the floor, following all indents, with no air pockets between it and the floor. I'm hoping it will waterproof, deaden vibration, and insulate against road noise a bit. I'm not interested in spending hundreds for Dynamat type products. It really made a difference when doing the "knock test" on the door panels, rear wall, and floor areas. I don't live in a hot zone, weather wise, so the melting problem with asphalt based products isn't a problem (no real smell either). This stuff is made for a bit of heat (compared to Bithuthane anyway) as it's a roof product. I'm putting half inch 703 accoustic insulation over the Grace Ice and Water Shield product on the back cab wall and then some thin black marine boating carpet over that. Also, the under seat area down to the door sill plates got Grace, 703 insulation, and black marine carpet also (the carpet is like pontoon boat deck carpet).
So that just leaves the main floor area's original type insulation to find for under the black rubber cab mat.
I searched for it here on FTE but didn't come up with anything

I'm also going to redo my bench seat while it's out for the cab remod. I had a new set of seat heaters that I bought fo my '05 and never got around to installing them. I've just installed the electrics from the seat to the dash, to the fuse block, and have installed both control buttons in dash face of my '82.
It looks slick and I can't wait to show it off to my my friends with earlier model trucks once the bench seat upholstery is redone and heater pads installed in it.
I also repainted all trim pieces including door panels, dash top, kick panels and vent control, and taped off main and lower dash area and painted that too, in place. It looks great. My buddy used a special paint for plastic trim. I probably should have dyed it but there are also a few metal pieces of trim.
Headliner horror show is to follow. My truck never had one in it. Got all the trim pieces for around it from local wrecking yard. It's the one thing I may have the Pros do.

Main floor insulation info would be appreciated?

Yes it's basically just a felt pad. If you can't find it locally either the marine carpet or the acoustical insulation should work as a substitute. If you're going for the sound deadening approach most people also recommend putting it inside the doors on the exterior skin. Several others also say put it on the roof under the headliner.

I would suggest replacing it with Second Skin Overkill or Overkill Pro. It is a closed cell foam that won't absorb water, and will do much better at deadening sound.
