I keep having problems with my third brake light. The bulbs keep going out. Does anyone knwo where I can get a new one? Ford dealer wants 189.00 Any help is appreciated.

You might try some electrical parts cleaner on the lamp socket and the connectors before seeking out a new one. Corrosion and dirt increase resistance and heat shortening the lamp life.

 

It should be the same part as the light on the back of the cab for any f-series. You should be able to get a junkyard replacement easily.
