6000 miles, not one warranty claim on mine. When I picked up mine in August (made in April), I asked the techs if they's seen a bunch of 6.4's coming through for warranty work. They all looked at each other as if they were trying to remember. One said, "yes, we saw a couple come back that were early production models with a radiator leak and the oil leak around one of the turbos, but that's it." (all known issues and TSB's exist) Apparently, they haven't seen hardly any coming back for engine warranty service work. That is a good sign. Yes, there will be trucks that have problems, but I believe the 6.4 rollout has been successful so far and your odds of failure are low.

I tow a 12k lb 5th wheel. The bed sags about two inches with the 5th wheel on it and has an inch before it touches the stop. I fixed that by adding Timbren rubber springs. The truck tows my camper like it isn't back there and the Timbrens add additional support for the springs. I don't perceive a lot of bucking and jerking.

always good to see when someone buys a truck/car and knows nothing about it.

From all indications, I would say that these things you have "heard" is nothing but Bull$%#. There are too many SDs out there, and I have never heard of this before. I am sure not every SD owner is on the site, but we would be aware if this were happening.

Radiator came apart already, and now it's leaking oil up front. I haven't had it 2 months yet. Small problems I know, but I need this beast on the road not in the shop. Hopefully this will be it and I won't be having anymore issues.

Well, I hope so too. I really is a nice, nice truck.

I have about 3000 Miles on mine, and not one problem. (knock on wood). By not paying attention, I even put some LSD in it a while back and didn't seem to bother it a bit until I could get some ULSD back into it.

Ditto 7 months over 5,000, with 2,000 towing. No problems and my two buddies haven't had one problem either. Some trucks are going to have problems, because they are now so complicated.

Over 15K on mine and runs like a champ, no problems at all. Even pulled a broken down semi, that supposedly weighed over 40,000 lbs. Towed him 30 miles at 70 mph in OD gear and she didn't even struggle, and actually accelerated going up a hill when I shifted down to 4th. Awesome truck, tons of power if you know how to plant it.
