2001 f150 reg/cab recently wrecked ,airbag deployed and seat belts are locked up. Need some help, what is the problem?

 

It is recomended to replace seatbelts after a crash. At least replace the ones that were in use at the time of the crash. Just my .02 and also cheap life insurance

I have a truck that I think has been wrecked.
The seatbelts wont retract. They just hang limp.

The passenger belt will some times lock up and you have to open the door to get it loose enough to belt someone up.

So somebody help us out here!

 

Sorry I can't remember what the fix was. I do remember the post, try doing a search if you haven't already. I promise there was one ( a post that is).
