In answer to your question, not as far as I know. Even if you got lucky enough to find one that had the bolt holes and water jackets all line up, you still wouldn't have a cam as virtually all Ford 4-cylinders are OHC (the only exception that comes to mind is the 1.6 Kent engine) and the heads you're talking about are OHV, cam-in-block.
Sounds like you have something intertesting in mind...care to share your thoughts? Mini-stock, possibly...?

Well, I've run a small block ford for many years in DIRT modified up here in the northeast and am considering a change to a midget car...... unfortunately I have a ton of ford engine stuff... but nothing that fits on the 4 cylinder stuff... so I was hoping to use one of my "N" heads if I could find a block to use.... didn't really think about the "OHC" scenario though...... thanks for that info.... I have thought about the Esslinger scenario... but want to get into something with out spending a ton of money... the Midget deal is fuel injected dry sump stuff.... that puts out about 300 hp........ anythoughts....? at the moment there is a ford focus spec engine that fits nicely... but down on power by quite a bit!! anything come to mind?

Esslinger stuff is not cheap, that's for sure. The two most common engines are the 2.3 and the early 2.0, which is what I ran when I was racing minis...a lot more rule-restrictive than what you're looking at.
We had some midget sprints that would come up from the SF Bay Area to run our track from time to time, the assoc. was called BCRA. They ran conventional V8s cut in half, either lengthwise to make a slant 4 or crossways to make a V4. I know those things weren't cheap either and of course most of them were Chevies, but I think there were a few Fords in the group...unless you go that way, I don't think there much of your current V8 stock that's going to be useable.

I used to deal with them when I was racing but had some problems with them which they failed to resolve to my satisfaction, and gave me some attiude besides, so I'm hesitant to recommend them anymore. If it had been just one occurance, that's understandable as doo-doo happens, but it was several orders that got screwed up and left me with the wrong parts and not enough time before the race to get the right ones, so I just stopped dealing with them...

that bites, but I understand customer satisfaction used to be job one, but sadly that happens less and less.
