1989 460

I got a chance to buy a 460 out of a 1989 1 ton 2wd for 100 bucks. the guy says it ran fine when it was pulled. I basically just want the core to rebuild the engine. it also has a 4 speed attatched to it in the deal. My plans are to rebuild it and swap it into my 78 f150 4x4. not the 4 speed i want to bolt it to my c6. Will i run into any probs being it is out of a 2wd w/ manual trans and its going into a 4x4 w/ auto? Were they efi in 89? i will build it carbed any ways. Any other ideas i would appreciate greatly. I thought 100 bucks is worth it for the core and i can sell the 4 speed and any other parts off the engine and get some of my money back there. thanks im hoping to get some good advice here!!
