Angry AEM sucks!

I have the F-250 with the 5.4 and they dont make the intake for it!!!!! Will the F-150 one work for sure or not?

Im thinkin no cause the engine compartments are so much different. that pisses me off. But I could be wrong.

However, I found them Outlaw intakes and they look good. I want a no-oil one cause of the sensor problems. Any suggestions?

Make your own there plenty of write ups around about making a cold air intake using
cone style filters. basically just make a panel to block off engine heat that seals against the fender and the hood and open up the radiator support so air gets forced
into the filter area. Make sure to use some screen to keep the love bugs out of the filter, I used dump truck tarp material to protect the radiator and pre filter the air. It
is a heavier material and has wider openings then just window screen, Talk to a dump
truck driver or company they probably have a torn one they will give you!!

outlaw power has the dry flow filter which is just like the aem one. That would probably work for you.

I understand how you feel, I have an 07 expedition and neither outlaw or aem make an intake for it. There are practically no add-ons I can do.

I really doubt, I had ordered the outlaw intake because they thought it would fit the 07 expedition, but ford redesigned the engine bay and moved stuff around. I even took pictures for them to see if they could maybe take some tubing off other applications to make it work, but they finally just refunded my money and paid for me to ship it back to them.

You may want to check out volant as well, they have a new power core filter that looks similar to the dry flow filters. I emailed them about the expedition and they claim they estimate one in 4-6 weeks, but that it usually doesnt happen that fast when they say that.

AEM is making stock replacement filters now, they also sell just the cone filter in different sizes. So yeah, you could make your own or buy a K&N intake and put an AEM cone filter on it, thats what I did with my 04 ranger.
