The Pits....

Changing the oil cooler, After cleaning the rear header mounting surface, there are a few pits in the block, they appear to be inside of the new gasket o ring , just where the coolant port is.

Should I use a bit of sealant?....

Opinions appreciated.....

Thanks....

I would use a smear there. I won't hurt anything as long as you don't use too much. What do you think? be on the road tomorrow for a Test drive????
