PLEASE explain - auxiliary fuel port?

PLEASE explain - auxiliary fuel port?

PLEASE explain - auxiliary fuel port?

I saw it on ford specs sheets and dont know exactly what it means - that i can add the second gas tank??? or something else?

Probably. My van was built for commerical use and came with dual tanks. But not all came with this. Some only came with one. So there would be an area for an extra tank if you want to install one.

The 22gal main tank is the rear. The 18 gal auxillary is a seperate tank on the driver's side.

The auxiliary fuel port is for E-series RV to run the AC generator and for cargo or chassis-cab models only. It's only use that I'm aware of is so one could run gas-powered equipment from the van's fuel tank (commercial and RV use only).

That's what the dealer told me when I asked...but I'm not sure the Quigley replacement tank has this, even though I paid for it on the original, pre-Quigley tank.
