i'm rebuilding a c6 for a 75 f250 4x4 using factory manuals from 77. the book shows a pressure boost valve sleeve retainer that needs to be removed but i dont have one. How do i remove the sleeve? it also shows a reverse clutch check ball and a seperator plate screen that i don't have. otherwise everything seems kosher. thanks for any help.

 

75 and 77 transmissions are different. The friction material and fluid change happened in May 1976 and there are also differences in the valve body.

 

so how do i get the sleeve out?
