New here
Think I posted in the wrong spot the 1st time. Stumbled over here from the H.A.M.B. Have a 52 F1 I have owned since april of 68 when I was 17. Grandparents bought it new in Feb of 53 and used it on their Colorado farm. Learned to drive on it there when I was 13. Anyway it's stock sheet metal but modern drive train and suspension I installed back in 1990. Repainted it then too. We have been through alot together but for the past 20 years it is strickly pleasure. Just picked up a short bed 69 F100 Ranger a couple of months back for more of a daily driver and to pull a trailer (just couldn't put big mirrors on my F1). It's lowered with a 390, 3 on the tree with overdrive.

Welcome to the board. You have definitely landed in the right place. This is a great forum. I have owned my 49 F-1 since 77 so you are ahead of me and it is tough to catch up! I am also a darksider, in fact I bought Willard, my 49, as a darksider running a 56 nailhead that was installed before 1962.

Welcome to FTE from another HAMB'er. This board is tame by comparison, but lots of great guys and gals here as well. Lots of good natured ribbing as you'll see. Some user features aren't available until you've prattled on for 25 posts - I don't think that's the case with pics, but........

Welcome to the board. It's a lot more laid back here than it is on the HAMB, and you get a lot more answers when you have questions. We are a close bunch of folks on here and we love our trucks. And we do our best to answer all questions. Not always right but the good news is someone always is. Lets see some PICS. some of us don't read we look.

Welcome aboard! I'm fairly new here myself, but the amount of help, hints, and just general happiness I've found here, has been remarkable!
