2008 sub size/dimensions?

Hope someone might know what the dimensions of the sub woofer in a 2008 is. I know the speaker itself is an 8 inch. What are its and the enclosures dimensions. I am trying to see if I can upgrage to something more efficent like the Polk 8 inch but need to know the dimension. Thanks in advance for the help.

I don't know...

and of-course without knowing any of the oem speaker specs, who's to say that the Polks are any more 'efficient'?... or even have the correct ohm rating?

I'm sure the Polks may be better quality, but they also might just be power hogs that demand more power. And installing a new amp could be something that could be a problem if you want to keep the oem head unit and it's capability to interface with the Nav and rear seat DVD system, as I do

:dunno:

let me know what you find, because I would like to have some more bass too

Maybe post a message here. This guy pulled it all out. I would not waste my time swapping out the oem woofer with another on the oem enclosure. At best it will yield only slightly better sound.

I did this type of swap with the Titan and had great results. So I am going to stick with the replacement idea.

Will do. I just have to find the time. I got food poisoning yesterday and am just starting to get around. I think this weekend is lost.

That stinks. Hope you get better. I had a couple of near death experiences with food poisoning.
