drking is starting off with a positive reputation.
defunct AC

'84 f350 460 v8
ac pump is not hooked up and one of the lines to the condenser is broken. i am thinking of just removing the entire ac system because i wouldnt use it anyway.

however, before i do that, is it a huge hassle?

is there any reason why i should not do that?

thanks!

A system that has been open for any length of time will need to be completely gone through before it will ever work correctly. Since you don't need it you could remove the system and it would be that much less weight in your truck.

Use the compressor for on board air!! You can run air tools and fill up your own tires
no more paying 75 cents. Do a search there is a bunch of tech articles on it.
you could run your heater lines to the coil in front of the radiator it will be like adding
an extra two cores to you radiator!!
