Not the most, but probably the least. My 04 F150 only has 8000 miles on it. I bought it in anticipation of retiring and only use it on weekends.

Did you do this yourself or the Ford dealer?

I took it to a shop that has done a lot of work for me in the past. They were unable to complete the work without removing the heads. I then took it to a Ford dealer and they did the extractions. I got an invoice to break the plugs, I got an invoice to tow the truck to a new mechanic and then I got the $1100.00 invoice for the extractions.

So if i took to Ford to change the plugs and they were unable to get them out they would charge me 1000 to do it? it seems like Ford should foot the bill for their bad design.

I 100% agree. I am not entirely sure how the invoices are created. I've done some reading and research and have found different dealerships charging differing amounts. I guess it's hard to have a flat rate since each job will be different. Still, bad design.

That is the right answer about gas mileage, but I'm guessing that we will still see lots of fuel economy threads pop up in the future.

3,000 miles a month..

whew.. thats a heap of gas.

I think I'm personally responsible for the fuel shortage..

Oh wait- i forgot.. the fuel shortage isn't real.
