killer build
The drill pin kit is recommended for anything over 3500 RPM.... I'm not sure what it does, but it appears to add some stability to the mass, as well as eliminating the play at the mounting bolts.

The only other option is the ATI Superdamper.... looks like a real nice piece. There wasn't much time to compare as the ATI was fairly new and not a lot of guys using it yet.

Torque? Might hit around 1300 lb/ft.

Thanks for the comps on the build!

As usual, very pro.
Think I'll look for a fluid damper of some sort, not quite ready to worry about that yet, but thanks fer the input.
Seems like my progress has slowed to a crawl.
Glad you're still moving forward.

Woo Hoo... took 3 hours to read all 30 pages from start to finish. Guess i am a slow reader. Don't know much about diesels but appreciate the pics and details that you and others have provided. Just wanted to say thanks for having the balls to do this, i admit this is way over my head but now i have learned something new. Just goes to show ya that just because our trucks are old, they can still be upgraded. Just my .02

I have been slowed down on the truck......

I was going to work the other day and hit what looked like a 10" square box on the freeway..... well it busted the hell out of my front end, so I have been busy rebuilding the car. BMW parts aint cheap!

Of course it was a good time to add some upgrades!

Spent the better part of two days making up this transition for the secondary turbo off the manifold and ended up not even using it!

Well after messing with the twins setup I figured that the primary would fit on the bottom after all... I guess taking a couple weeks off helps the thought process!
