Five packages at the door today! The wife was kinda complaining that she couldn't hardly get through the door!

I would assume they were 5 packages of that same bright, red item?

If so - cool!

Who made those seats?

Those seat are made by APC.... we will see if they hold up! At least they will get me by for now.

Another note.... Coilovers. Fox vs King vs FOA vs SAW's ? I'm leaning towards the Fox coilovers or maybe I should look for a used set? Found a set of SAW's without coils?

Any thoughts?

Thinking the Government stimulus plan is working is like thinking that taking water form the deep end of a pool and dumping it in the shallow end will raise the water level of the pool.

You forgot one - Bilsteins - haha!

In the past I have personally stayed away from the "Stay-A-Ways", but I have heard they have fixed their old leaking problems, etc. So in all reality you should be fine with any of the above. SAW's run shorter overall length wise than any other and the Foxes seem to run long. Remember that if you are tight on space.

If you are buying new the FOAs could save some cash and still do just fine for what you want out of them.

Used shocks can save some $$, but plan on re-building or at least re-valving them. This could cause a problem being where you are with finding a shop capable of doing so, or sending them down here to be done. This all adds into cost factor.

The next question is - what dia. body shock and what stroke? I'd like 3"ers, but they are $$ and I think 2.5's will be fine.

Feel free to PM or email me as I can usually score some dang good deals on shocks due to my location in the desert racing mecca of So. Cal.
In fact my last coupole pairs have been darn near free

I'm looking at the 2.5's and considering my mount location I'm leaning towards the 16" versions as the overall length is a better fit. I may or may not have to limit some of that with straps and/or stops.

I was looking at the FOA stuff, but really couldn't find any recent user opinions... most threads seem to talk about their earlier stuff, which I guess had a few problems? I like their prices though!

I haven't hear a ton about the FOAs. I've seen a few people who were happy with them and nothing bad. But like I said - I haven't heard much. What problems were you hearing about?

I can't say that I remember a specific problem.... more like just an overall negative attitude towards the product. Some bashing their high pressure cast parts, others bashing the choice of threads on the dampner body and other had all king of digs on the acronym FOA... just like stay a ways...

I too questioned the castings at 1st, but am open to trying the shocks (though I haven't yet). One of the owners/higher ups at FOA is on another board I frequent and has been VERY open/forthcoming with info, etc. He's open to suggestions, criticism and even request for what parts/products to come out with next (like their bump stops and now bypass shocks).
I can put you in touch with him if you have any specific questions, but like I said and you just clarified above - they should be just fine for what you are doing.

I was going to run them on the crew, but with the economy doing what it is I am picking up all sorts of shocks at surprisingly low prices

OK... I'm now re-thinking that whole FOA deal for sure! What was the "other board" you are talking about? I'd like to go do a search over there....

Thanks!

Purchased this 5" exhaust from a company that enables you to get just the pieces that you need... since I dont need a downpipe, it worked out great! I added an extra piece of 5" straight incase I needed to add some length...

My boy is thinking it's all wrong though! "Hey Dad this stuff is too small... even I can't crawl through it!"
