I recently ordered a complete up pipe kit from powerstrokeshop.com. The kit said 99-03 7.3. Got to looking around for some other stuff on the site AFTER I got my pipes in and found a kit for early 99's. Is there any way that the pipes I got will work on my early 99. It looks like the pedastal is higher on the late 99's from a post I saw a few weeks ago. If the only difference is the length, I can cut the pipes down with a tubing cutter. If there is no chance of them working, I will send them back. I just want to have the right stuff when I take it apart because my other truck (83 F100) gets half the mileage my PSD does and I drive a lot. Any of you guys who have done the late 99 upgrades know if this will work?

 

better send them back..the bend at the top is a little different do to the height change..if they where the same you would have to cut the pipe in half then weld back together to keep the bend at the top...not worth the effort..
