Talking Going hunting

I'll be out of town from Oct 26th till Nov 1. I have a deer hunt planned. If anyone wants to join the chapter during the time I'm gone just wait & I'll make you members when I return. I may have internet access while I'm out of town but I'm not sure. Wish me luck I need to refill my freezer. I love deer meat.

I'm back from hunting.I killed 3 bucks. One was a big bodied 4 point& the others were button heads. I thought they were does when I shot them. They will taste good I'm sure.I've got some butchering to do now. I plan to make a bunch of sausage this yr.

nubeee1 you have to go to the supermarket I use.Its located in the woods but the meat is there for the taking. J/K If you lived closer I'd give you some venison.

hahaha...........The only supermarket like that here, is on the strip. I don't think the tourist would taste very good .!! But they do get wild every now and then... If I was closer...I'd take some.!! Thank for the offer.!

Put one of them deer shoulders in a dutch oven, cover it this Bush Beans, cook for 3hrs..........mmmmmmmmmm

I had some venison last year, and it was different. Natural meat has a flavor unique to it, and one day I'll have a deep freeze set aside at my place as a coffin just for "Mister Multi-points"..

It will be a while yet though - too many issues right now.

Welcome back Howard. Sorry to have bothered you while you were shopping in the fresh meat section of Louisiana.
I made it to Clarksville ok just using the electric brakes on the trailer (only 2 close encounters). Got parked at the stadium and proceeded to yank the vucuum pump. Orieleys was the only place close that had the part. $115 later and a quick wrenching session and we were back in business.
Oh yea, this is also when i noticed a had a fuel leak. Made it home and parked it. looked at it this morning, fuel pump leaking out the weep hole. have spent most of the day on it.
but, now it's all done and WOW! power! i am not sure how long it has ben leaking but have noticed for the last two months pulling the bands gooseneck it has been down on power. now i can't wait to hook to it this saturday as we are going to state finals in Thompson Station TN.

Fuel on a diesel is critical - glad you spotted it.

Check your water seperator filter, and if you have any doubts replace it anyway.
(They can rust through, and a pinhole is all it takes)
