4500 mile hunting trip... no problems... photo

I just return from a 4500 mile hunting trip... Indiana to North Dakota...then to Idaho... no problems.......... I had no problems finding fuel... even though in a mountain town somewhere in ID... @ 3.63 a gallon... they still had the fuel I needed......... as far as fuel milage i got around 15 in the flat lands and 12.9 in the mountains....... but hay it is a F350... I come close to running out of fuel in Mountana....... but that was my fault........ but I did find if I keep the rpm under 2000 was my best milage.... I had a lot of postive things said about my truck it is a eye catcher......... One negative thing said by some uppey in Idaho......... (gas hog).......... response........(---- You lady)........ anyway next trip is to SD for some more great hunting........ Driveing this thing is a real pleasure..... thanks FORD for a great product.....

That's a very nice truck... and I'm envious of your hunting trip. Any success?

Did rob nc have a fire? I find when I drive in the mountains around here i get my best mileage, has to do mainly with the speed limit being 90 km/h instead of 110 though

Great job with the wingshooting! Even if ya get skunked it's still far better than being at work.

BTW, is that a Can-Back top?

Very nice!!! How's that soft cap working out for you? I live in the Pacific North WET, I haul a 32' Montana fifth wheel. When I'm not hauling that, I'm running between Montana and Oregon shooting rifle matches. Looking for something to keep rifles and shooting equipment dry. Looks like that might be the answer.
