I'm gonna visit a friend in Syracuse. While I'm down there I want to pick up some new tires for my '93 f150. Also want to have the front end aligned probably need a new tie rod or something.
Looking for a good shop to do the front end work, then a good deal on some tires and balancing.
Firestone sometimes has great deals and a good warranty on alignment.

Hopefully someone from the area will post up as I am not familiar with Syracuse area and what shops are there.
Have a safe trip and welcome to NY!!
Thanks Darren. I'm a frequent visitor to the Empire State.
I'm still trying to find someone to pay my gas this trip. I use the truck to do small moves and if I can get a job from Montreal to Kingston I should make enough to pay the tires. My friend moved to Syracuse for a job and is a little lonely down there so I'm gonna hang out with him for a couple days.
I wanna take him out to the college bars. If anyone knows a couple nice places where the co-ed girls go for beer I'd much appreciate it. My friend needs to get laid really bad it's an emergency he got dumped over a year ago now I'm worried about him down there alone away from his friends and family.
I hear pep boys sells parts and does the work as well? I'm looking for something like that, where they can have a look under there and pull whatever I need off the shelf and put it on for me without charging a huge markup. I'll probably call ahead to order the tires I want and make sure they have a good stock of parts for the front end work but I figure a parts store/service centre is what I need.
I don't know much about front end work. I lubed all the places I could find that needed it, but Ford had it in for an engine flush and said they found some play in the front wheels. And it pulls a little. I also need new shocks the front end's a little bouncy.
I figure I'll have them put it on a lift, put on new shocks, fix whatever is pulling, install new tires, then balance and align the whole thing. My mom's sending me some cash for Christmas, she's gonna put it on a bank card, send it to me with the PIN, and I can just swipe and be on my way.
So...
fun college bars in Syracuse with lots of chicks
good all around parts shop with service bay
