I was looking at maybe swapping in a late model 460 into my 79 bronco and was woundering if anyone has used a megasquirt on these late model engines to compliment internal mods. What is invloved with and cost of a mass flow conversion? Or is that nessasary with the mega.

 

Mass air isn't necessary... I have a MS about 90% built that I'm planning to put in my 92 F350. It should be pretty straight forward, using all of the stock ignition and fuel components (minus ECU).

This will be my first big block... but I've had good success megasquirting other EFI/TFI ignition era fords.

I haven't touched it... busy at work, got married, in the process of buying a house. My car projects have suffered. This is actually the first I've looked at this forum in 6+ months.

I will certainly post here once it's done but I think it probably won't happen till next summer.
