Question diesel fuel alternative

Two guys at this shop in town say they are running transmission fluid in their tanks, that they get from the 55 gallon drums after they flush people's transmissions!!!
Anyone heard of this? Legal?

They might be able to run at 20-30% blend, but the better have one hell of a good filter system.I seriously doubt there running it pure.

Yep, Kerosene is good old # 1 Diesel. Amazingly straight Kero is available year round over here as well as blends. It gives you less fuel milage and its about 50 cents more than # 2 a gallon.

Kerosene will run perfectly fine. The kerosene/no1 is just refined more it is 1 step closer to being gas.Running k1 you are giving up pulling power and probably atleast 10%in mileage.K1 is thinner than no2 diesel and it does not provide adequate lubricity to the injector system. Most only run it in the winter to keep fuel from gelling.
