More Pimp-like?

I see where Tundra now offers the following: TRD 22"x9" 5-spoke polished forged aluminum alloy wheel (L7)
$4699 MSRP*

Pretty steep option I'd say. Isn't this the same size the Escalade Cadillac offers? They look too pimp-like IMO. I wonder if the Ford F-150 people are also looking entertaining this tire setup on the 09's?

4,699 is totally outrageous and stupid on their part...waste of money...but i guess it'll play into other companies hands....everyone will buy them then with basically no sidewall to absorb shock their customers will beotch and moan about how rough the ride is and maybe we'll get some converts as the result or maybe some of their cheesy plastic stuff inside the trucks will just fall off from all the jolting around...

yes, 22" rims are what makes a truck more pimp than the others, after all, big wheels are what counts in a truck

Well, the Harley is taking a year off so I don't think we will see any 22" options for 09. But you can still get them on the 08 Harley and Lariat limited.

Its not the wheel size which makes them look "pimp". Take a look at the Harley and Roush 22" wheels for the F150. Neither are "pimp".

I saw one on my dealers floor last week. It is a nice looking truck, if you take the limited badging off the side of the bed.
