Some new pics in gallery
Just added some new pics of the truck with all the major components test-fitted except the tailgate and rear bumper. I am still playing around with tire size and I believe that the rear will have to come down a couple of inches. I did add one of my buddies 32 roadster in my gallery. It is real steelie that was actually a salt lake racer back in the sixties. It is one nice driver and it does not see a trailer. I believe it won the coolest car at the Goodguys show in Nashville. Just thought ya'll might enjoy.

Thanks guys. The bed, cab, rear fenders, and front valance came straight from Bebop's. Ms. Witt did me good on buying other parts since I bought the cab from them. I think for the complete bed, oak wood, OEM tailgate, stainless strips and stainless fasteners ran me about 1100. They were great.
As for the 302, I made my own mounts actually after scouring here on FTE. I used 2x2 tubing and 1/4" flat steel. The mounts are for a 84 F100 with a small block and I just got to fabbing. I did have the trans mount mounted and redrilled for the volare steering box about 1 1/2" over to the passenger side for extra room. After that, with the engine hoist and fenders on, ride height about where I wanted it, and my carb level, I was able to get my height for my mounts and welded her in. I did have the truck driving before this last tear down and with the AOD and stock rear end, it was quick out of the hole. My new driveshaft will be done soon and I will see how the mopar 742 rearend with 3.23 gears will do with this setup. More on that later.
As for building a second truck, my goal outside my truck right now is to get Walford a decent southern cab and get him on the road with something that doesn't require a cdl and probably just enjoy this truck and sell my other slant cabs and finish the 40 sedan, and 70 torino cobra. I will also have to post some pics of the 64 Falcon wagon that I have and see how many of ya'll make fun of it. Its blue buts its cool.

Thanks, I have had the Falcon for about a year. It has 47,000 original miles on it and its a ball to drive. It the show entry until the effie gets done and then I have to find her a new home or shove a V8 down its throat. How about a 302 with 4bbl, C6, and narrowed nine? Also a surfboard and some 15" steelies, a fat girl, and 4x8 sheet of plywood and a cooler full of adult beverages. Dreams.

However, too big of a 4bbl and C6 on a 302 are both overkill. You'll drown it in gas and suck too many horses out of it. A 2bbl or a small 4 bbl (500 cfm) and a C4 make more sense.
I'm with you on everything except the fat girl.
