"What is Re-Gen?"

A way for "tree-huggers" to get what they want, the US govt. to save face and us diesel drivers to pay more!

Did I cover it well enough?

but how does a trade for less diesel smoke a good move for the environment when it causes a 40% reduction in fuel economy? This is hurting my head! But there is a TSB out on regen cycle function - it is TSB 07-4-11 look this up and it may make all of you a little angry about what ford now believes to be "normal operation characteristics of this system"

If you look into the recall section of this site you will find the part which causes this "Regen" to be on recall.
