turn signals don't work

I recently replaced the entire steering column wiring harness in my 89 F-150. About three days ago I noticed the turn signals were no longer working. The hazard lights will make the turn signal lights work but the turn signal stalk doesn't work the lights at all. Is there a flash cube or something the turn signals go through that the hazards don't that would allow the same bulbs to flash by different controls ?

There are seperate flashers for each, one for the blinkers and one foe the hazzards.

Your turn signal flasher is the big round thing on the fuse box. The hazard flasher is supposed to be located on the back of the fuse box.

Since you just replaced your wiring, let me share what I just had. My turn signals died but hazards worked. Turned out my ignition switch was slightly disconnected from part of it's wiring harness. Everything else worked great aside from the turn signals.

Make sure your connection is good before dropped the 4 bucks on a new flasher, it might turn out yours is good just like mine was.

Thanks guys, its been a few months since I replaced the wiring harness so I hope thats not the problem. If so I'll probably just sell the truck, I'm not going through that again. The signals have worked fine up until the end of last week so hopefully its just the flasher.
