Intake manifold I.D.

Hi there, I have an intake manifold in my garage that a fellow wants to purchase. I have absolutely no idea as to the value and what I should be asking for it. It is a Ford 4 barrel intake with 4 sets of casting numbers that I can find. They are:
C8EA
425-F
BD19
It also has the large letter 'S' which I recall reading, denotes a performance part. Can any of you help me with first an identity for this part and what it may be worth?
Thanks in advance.

Don W.

Don, those numbers seem a little off. Could it be a C8AE-9425-F and 8 D19 instead?

LAST EDITED ON 28-Apr-01 AT 07:38*PM (EST)[p]Yes, the numbers are mixed up, it should be
C8AE 452-F 19

There is no '9' in front of the 452-F though.

I'm having a bit of trouble editing my last message correctly, I don't know where the happy face came from and I can't seem to get rid of it. Nonetheless the numbers are:
C8AE
425-F
19
There is no '9' before the 425-F though.

You said it had the S just back from the water neck on the #1 runner. That sounds like the 390GT S code intake, the #1 runner runs even to the base of the carb where the T code drops down a tad when going to the carb base.

I see these at the junk yards and can have them for $25, I see them usually for $50 at swap meets and $100~125 cleaned w/no bad threads and painted.

Not a bad intake at all, good for trucks, street, mild performance on a 360/390. If it has the 4v carb plate w/ coolant passage add another $20
