As long as you have the correct big block Mustang mounts it can work with the early 2 bolt mount blocks. 1 part of the motor mount is the block plate that bolts to the block. You'll need to mark and drill this for the upper bolt hole on each plate on both sides.

The headers will mount up fine with just the 8 bolt heads.
