Talking 54 F 100

Got my frame back from sandblaster, he primed and epoxy painted it also, started reassembly and I think it looks good. Hope to get the front disk brakes back on tonight.
Sent the rear rotors out to be turned and ordered new calibers for the rear today. That will finish the rear.
I need to order a front sway bar for IFS and then the front will be all done.
Slow progress but aleast it is going together on the bottom.

Sounds like an exciting project; just take your time; no rush anyway, I guess, with cold weather coming.

I powder coated my 55 panel's frame and had fun putting things back also.

Thanks for the boost. Sometimes it seems like you get nowhere. Sure is nice to see something done.

That's what I love about this place, is the encouragement!! We keep each other up and going!! Nothing like seein a good idea and findin out how they done it and the greatest thing about this site is that all the folks here will share their "secrets" and more than willing to help.

GOOD job on the frame, as already said don't get in a hurry.

Max from looking at your gallery yours had a shortened bed similar to mine, The PO had cut six inches off my frame. Did you extend your frame back out?

No I have to set the bed first to see what I need. I made up a Reese hitch and bolted it on hoping I don't have to extend the frame. I know it has been cut but not sure how much.

I have just started into year number 5 of what I considered a 5 year project when started. Roughly I would think I have maybe 3 years left to go.
The key is just try to make progress, no matter how big or small, progress is progress.
Sounds like your going the right direction.

I powder coated my 55 F100's frame and had fun putting things back also.

Sometimes it is a PITA, but, also much satisfaction. Keep it up pal.
