Sideview Mirror Options
I sure have been enjoying my truck the month or so I've had it! I got a load of firewood - with both the truck bed and a 10'x5' foot utility trailer fully loaded, and it was like the weight wasn't even there! A little different than getting firewood in my old Tacoma.
I added some blind spot mirrors to my sideview mirrors, and ended up doing more harm than good - I made the blindspot worse by putting the 3" blindspot mirrors on the lower outside of each mirror, making it difficult to see cars on the passenger side of my truck when changing lanes.
Unfortunately I scratched the mirrors really bad removing the 2" mirrors I initially tried, so I need to find some replacement sideview mirrors and start all over again. I have the factory, non-power, extending towing mirrors, so I'm guessing it won't be too difficult to find replacements, but I was wondering if you guys have found an alternative mirror that works better than the stockers. The stockers just leave too big of a blindspot on the passenger side for my tastes, but obviously putting a blindspot mirror where I did isn't the solution. If I do end up having to get stock replacements, anyone have any suggestions on where to get them? Also, has anyone had better luck installing blindspot mirrors in a different location?
Thanks!

This is how I did mine

I used a piece of aluminum angle and some mirrors from a truck stop.
