Another New Truck... and some very, very sad news.
Kara and I decided tonight to purchase another Ranger.
94 XLT 3.0L 5-speed, pw, pl, pm, cruise. A little rough around the edges, but certainly a fair price.
Now the sad part, because of the above purchase, it's time for Blue to go. It's funny, I never thought when I first bought 'er I would become so attached. Laugh if you want, but I'm honestly tearin' up over it. I hate to sale 'er, but I don't guess there is any purpose in keeping 'er. I've cut many knuckles in that truck... in fact, the best commercial I've ever seen (the Valvoleen commercial where the guy busts his knuckles and wipes them with an oily rag) reminds me of 'er. So, how much do I ask? $1500? I mean, she runs, ac blows cold, starts EVERY time on the fourth crank, whether 120* or 15*.
I know exactly what you mean. I traded in a 91 F 150 for an 01. Driving something 10 years newer has been nice. But I was truthly about teary eyed leaving em' at the dealer and leaving in the new truck.
You got yourself a good truck. Just a little bit of work, you will have yourself one heck of a good truck.
I know you will miss Blue, but just look at it as moving up!
Let me know if you need help with the new Ranger.
Tim

I know exactly how you feel. My 69 LeMans was totalled in 1994 and I was crushed. I can't even imagine selling either of my trucks. That would be like getting rid of a kid or something.

Man, you sure know how to scare the heck out of a person. I'm sorry you have to get rid of blue. If it's because of the lack of room, you can park it at my house, lol. Tell Kara helllo for me.
